As a child, I was always drawn to nature, especially animals. This led to my study of Zoology as an undergraduate at Michigan State University. Adding an M.S. degree in Environmental Education from California State University, San Bernardino, I’ve taught grade school, high school and worked with special needs students. A diploma from The Expressive Arts Institute of San Diego allowed me to deepen my love of art, music, dance, writing, and theater. Four years spent living in Spain has rekindled my involvement with nature journaling, a way to bring art and writing to a deeper understanding. I bring all of this to what I love most: connecting with others, especially children, in a way that is nurturing and healing, helping others aspire to become their best selves.
